AppTego Portal

The AppTego Portal is the control center for protecting apps and operating mobile security day to day. Use it to configure protection, upload applications, manage access, review security evidence, monitor builds, and move changes safely from Development to Staging to Production.

This section is written for tenant owners, mobile release teams, security engineers, and administrators who need to understand what each portal area is for and how it fits into a production rollout.

Operational Model

Most configuration changes apply to the next protected build. Enterprise live configuration push can update supported runtime settings in already-deployed apps when that capability was enabled before the app was built.

Use Development for exploration, Staging for QA validation, and Production for customer-facing releases.

  1. Select the correct tenant before making changes.
  2. Work in Development while exploring controls, messages, and build settings.
  3. Protect a QA build and validate on physical devices.
  4. Promote to Staging for release-candidate testing.
  5. Promote to Production only after the protected artifact and response actions are approved.
  6. Monitor the Security Dashboard, Device Logs, Audit Logs, and build history after release.

For first-time setup, begin with Navigating the Portal. For release operations, pair Configuring Security Controls with Application Builds.
